Job summary

Majestic Care of Goshen seeks a Weekend Supervisor, RN to lead a nursing unit in a long-term care setting. The role focuses on directing daily operations, staffing, and resident care quality on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

The ideal candidate has an accredited nursing degree, an active RN license in Indiana, and CPR certification. Prior long-term care experience and leadership abilities are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as an RN in the state employed; license must be active, valid, and in good standing.
• Active CPR license or the ability to obtain within the first 30 days of employment; CPR license must be kept active.

Responsibilities

• Direct the operation of a nursing unit in a long-term community.
• Hire, discipline, and evaluate care team members; plan and facilitate meetings.
• Monitor staffing patterns to meet resident needs and budgetary controls.
• Ensure safe, high-quality care and timely physician interventions.
• Assist in orientation and guidance of new personnel and ongoing staff development.
