Formación

• Current RN license in good standing.

Weekend RN Supervisor

Location:Lafayette Center

Job Summary: Lafayette Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced RN to oversee our nursing department Saturday and Sunday. This role involves ensuring the highest standard of care for our residents, managing nursing staff, and taking responsibility for activities within the facility during assigned hours.

Responsibilities

• Supervision:Oversee and manage the nursing department and support staff ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

• Patient Care:Ensure that all residents receive high-quality, compassionate care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.

• Staff Management:Provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff. Conduct performance evaluations and address any personnel issues that arise.

• Documentation:Ensure accurate and timely documentation of resident care, incidents, and other relevant information. Review and approve nursing staff documentation.

• Communication:Maintain open lines of communication with residents, families, and staff. Report significant issues to the Director of Nursing and other relevant departments.

• Quality Assurance:Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided by the nursing team, implementing improvements as needed.

• Compliance:Ensure nursing activities comply with state and federal regulations and facility policies.

Qualifications

• Licensure:Current RN license in good standing with the state board of nursing.

• Experience:Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience. 1 year experience as a supervisory role in long-term care or a similar setting is preferred.

• Skills:Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, excellent clinical skills.

• Communication:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
