Job summary

Cedargate Health Care Center in Missouri is seeking an RN Charge Nurse - Supervisor to lead and support our nursing team, ensure high-quality resident care, and manage the behavioral unit during weekend rotations.

The ideal candidate will be a registered nurse with strong leadership, empathy, and integrity, able to adapt to high-stress situations, oversee medication passes, and mentor CNAs, with a commitment to resident safety and dignity.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse licensed to practice.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to supervise CNAs, CMTs, and hall monitors.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing staff including CNAs, CMTs, and Hall Monitors.
• Conduct audits, assessments, and monitor compliance with care standards.
• Assist with staff training and orientation under DON guidance.
• Oversee medication passes and supervise CMTs during administration.
• Ensure resident safety and dignity while promoting quality care.
• Adapt quickly to high-stress situations and manage behavioral unit.

We are currently seeking a RN Charge Nurse - Supervisor.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• The Charge Nurse is a Registered Nurse (RN) who has superior nursing knowledge. This position requires a strong unique person who is able to adapt at a moment’s notice to any situation including those of high stress. The RN that holds this position must have the ability to be positive in all things with the ability to manage our behavioral unit successfully.
• Supervise and support nursing staff including CNAs, CMTs, and Hall Monitors.
