Job summary

Acclaim Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Jersey City, NJ is seeking an experienced RN Weekend Supervisor to lead weekend nursing operations, mentor staff, and ensure high-quality resident care.

The role provides part-time weekend shifts with pay rate $50–$53 per hour, offering opportunities to collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team while maintaining regulatory compliance and smooth patient flow.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license
• Minimum of 2 years in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation
• At least 1 year of nursing supervisory experience
• Current CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and clinical oversight during weekend shifts
• Support the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing with daily operations
• Supervise, mentor, and support RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
• Ensure high-quality resident care while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations
• Participate in surveys, audits, and regulatory inspections
• Monitor resident care plans and assist with discharge planning
• Coordinate staffing assignments to ensure appropriate coverage
• Conduct rounds to evaluate resident care and staff performance
• Address clinical concerns and resolve issues promptly
• Assist with admissions and ensure smooth transitions for new residents
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team
• Oversee medication administration and treatment accuracy
• Perform resident assessments and provide direct patient care as needed
• Assist with staff coaching, evaluations, and ongoing education
• Support additional nursing and operational responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current, active RN license in the State of New Jersey
• Minimum of 2 years of long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation experience
• At least 1 year of nursing supervisory experience
• Current CPR certification
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
