Job summary

ODC of Alabama seeks a Registered Nurse for weekend, part-time coverage in Madison, AL. The role focuses on safe nursing care during CT/MRI contrast exams, coordinating with technologists and a remote radiologist, and ensuring patient safety and proper documentation on site.

The RN will support IV access, pre-screening, patient movement, and throughput while responding to adverse events. BLS within 60 days is required.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited RN program.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient assessment and coordinate care onsite during CT/MRI contrast procedures.
• Support remote radiologist via two-way audio/video collaboration.
• Assist with IV access, pre-screening, patient movement, and efficient throughput.
• Communicate critical results and accept verbal orders when policy allows.
• Support emergency drills, CPR/BLS readiness, and maintain readiness of emergency equipment.
