The role requires 2+ years of critical care or ED nursing experience, PA RN license, BLS, and PALS within one year.

Job Summary

Registered Nurse – Weekend Program | Nights (5/6)

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in our Weekend Program, designed for experienced nurses who value a consistent schedule and the opportunity to provide high-quality care while working primarily on weekends.

The Registered Nurse functions as an integral member of the healthcare team and practices within the scope of practice established by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and organizational policies and procedures. The RN is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation of patient care, as well as monitoring and evaluating each patient's response to interventions.

The RN collaborates with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, patients, and families to provide safe, compassionate, evidence-based care and to promote optimal patient outcomes.

Weekend Program Schedule

• Shift: Nights
• Weekend Program: 5/6
• Weekend is defined as: Saturday at 7:00 AM through Monday at 7:00 AM
• Weekend Program nurses are expected to fulfill the established weekend commitment as part of the position.

Qualifications

Education Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of Critical Care or Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience

Licensure & Certifications

• Current, unrestricted Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification
• PALS certification required within one year of hire
