Job summary

FMOL Health in Mississippi is seeking a Registered Nurse for a weekend shift (Friday–Sunday) to deliver patient care with the health care team philosophy. You will coordinate care, perform discharge planning, and teach patients and families as part of the care plan.

The role requires one year of RN experience, MS RN license, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining safety standards. Weekend hours are compensated with a higher hourly rate and ongoing professional development

Qualifications

• One year experience as an RN.
• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Good judgment, communication skills, ability to function under stress; CPR current.
• Willing to rotate shifts and overtime as needed.
• Mississippi State RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care by planning, organizing, and directing the nursing functions on the unit.
• Coordinates care planning and discharge planning with the health care team.
• Administers medications and intravenous solutions skillfully.
• Maintains infection-control compliance and patient privacy.
• Participates in ongoing quality improvement activities.
