Job summary

Berkshire Center in West Babylon, NY is seeking skilled Registered Nurses to join our Nursing team on weekends or every other weekend. You will deliver high quality care, document services, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support residents’ health and well-being.

Ideal candidates hold a NY RN license, have nursing home experience, and demonstrate leadership. You will assess patients, manage triage and monitoring, oversee medication administration, and participate in quality

Qualifications

Must hold a New York State RN license.
Previous nursing home experience required.
Strong leadership and supervisory qualities.
Able to assess patients and recognize changes in condition.
Ability to coordinate unit operations and work with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate and meaningful documentation of services.
Identify and prioritize client care needs based on history and assessment.
Perform client triage, assessments, and monitor for withdrawal or intoxication symptoms.
Monitor medication administration and ensure timely dosing per policy.
Complete nursing care plans endorsing client needs.
Participate in quality improvement projects.
Take direction from supervisor and function in a shift-lead role within the team.
