Responsibilities

• Communicates and collaborates with physicians, leadership and multidisciplinary teams.
• Administers medications as prescribed and monitors patient status.
• Educates patients and families, plans teaching based on learning needs.
• Assists physicians with procedures and supports technical nursing services.
• Identifies psychosocial needs and coordinates discharge planning as needed.
• Maintains patient safety and uses cost-effective, prudent resource usage.
• Engages in ongoing learning related to the nursing profession.
