Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Assesses the patient appropriately and accurately based on their medical condition.
• Administers medications as prescribed with knowledge of ordered meds.
• Provides care suitable to patient age and condition including self-care activities.
• Teaches patient and family, evaluates learning effectiveness and includes family as appropriate.
• Demonstrates nursing skills to perform treatments and services.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team to deliver patient care.
• Assists physicians with procedures requiring technical skills.
• Addresses psychosocial needs and coordinates discharge planning with social services.
