Job summary

Atrium Health's Carolinas Medical Center invites applications for a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) in Neurosurgery ICU. This 24-hour-per-week position features a 7p-7a weekend schedule, on a 1:2 patient ratio, within a 29-bed NSICU with private rooms and advanced monitoring.

We seek graduates of accredited nursing programs, with at least 6 months RN experience, a valid RN license, and BLS certification. Join a Magnet-designated center known for trauma care, research, and compassionate patient

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program is required.
• At least 6 months of RN experience is required.
• Current RN license in the practicing state and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and strong communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience.
