Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Lourdes Health System at 1600 Haddon Ave. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, working with a multidisciplinary team on an on-site, night-shift schedule.

The role includes patient education, care coordination, and delegation of tasks to clinical staff. The position requires an NJ RN license and an associate’s degree (bachelor’s preferred).

Qualifications

• RN license required; policy specifies NJ RN License
• 0-1 years’ experience required, 2-4 preferred
• Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs an assessment of the patient, leading to development, implementation and evaluation of a plan of care.
• Administers, monitors and documents therapeutic interventions and regimes.
• Participates in clinical decision-making and patient education for disease process and care needs.
• Delegates and monitors care rendered by other members of nursing department and healthcare team.
• Maintains professional and departmental competencies.
