Methodist College in Omaha, NE invites applications for an RN/LPN Refresher Clinical Instructor. This part-time role provides classroom, lab, and clinical experiences to prepare learners for healthcare roles, with Saturday and/or Sunday shifts from 6:30am to 7:30pm.

Qualified candidates have an ASN or RN diploma (BSN/MSN preferred), 1+ year teaching/nursing experience, and Nebraska RN licensure with a current BLS. Training in multiple educational roles is also expected.

Qualifications

• ASN or RN diploma required; BSN/MSN preferred.
• 1+ year teaching experience preferred; 1+ year nursing experience required.
• Current BLS from American Heart Association preferred at hire, required within 3 months.
• Nebraska RN license with compact multistate authorization or temporary permit.

Responsibilities

• Promotes a positive learning environment in class, lab and clinical settings.
• Establishes rapport with students and staff; uses curriculum and resources.
• Teach evenings/weekends; maintain equipment and spaces orderly.
• Assist with skills sign-off and evaluations; participate in team meetings.
