Job summary

Brookwood Skilled Nursing & Therapy is seeking a Licensed Nurse (RN or LPN) for the 11–7 weekend shift on Saturdays and Sundays. Join a supportive, well-structured team that values nurses and provides an encouraging work environment.

Qualifications

• Current Oklahoma LPN license or RN license.
• 1+ year of experience in a Skilled Nursing or Long Term Care environment.
• Ability to obtain and administer medications and treatments according to nursing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
• Observe residents and record significant conditions and reactions; notify appropriate parties of changes.
• Take vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess residents’ condition.
• Keep residents’ family and physician informed of changes in health, medications, or conditions.
• Modify residents’ care plan and ADL flow sheets with changes in condition.
• Prepare and administer injections and/or enemas.
• Collect samples and monitor catheters.
• Provide wound care.
