Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Valid nursing license in the state of practice.
- CPR/First Aid certification required.
- Multistate nursing license preferred.
Responsibilities
- Initiate admission by obtaining provider orders on patient arrival and complete the initial nursing assessment within 24 hours.
- Monitor vital signs and document nursing notes; assess patient progress.
- Support weekly patient consultations with the medical team.
- Educate and assist patients in safe self-administration of medications after discharge.
- Maintain accurate MAR; coordinate medication orders and pharmacy access.
- Coordinate lab specimen collection and communicate results to the team.
