Sunflower Communities in Minnesota is seeking a Weekend Registered Nurse (RN) for day shifts every other weekend at Nagel Assisted Living & Memory Care in Waconia. You will provide clinical leadership, oversee resident assessments, and coordinate care with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team.

The role offers flexible part-time weekend hours, a competitive $35.00–$50.00 per hour wage with a $1 weekend differential, opportunities for growth, and a warm, team‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Active Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Experience in assisted living, memory care, long‑term care, home health, skilled nursing, or related healthcare settings preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Leadership mindset with a willingness to support, coach, and guide team members.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight and support during the day shift.
• Perform resident assessments and respond to changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments while ensuring safe medication practices.
• Develop and oversee individualized service plans and nursing interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacies, therapists, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Mentor caregivers and provide clinical support, coaching, and education.
• Participate in admissions, care conferences, and resident reviews.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations, documentation standards, and community policies.
• Help create a safe, calm, and welcoming environment for residents and team members.
• Participate in rotating on‑call responsibilities and support clinical decision‑making after hours.
