Job summary

Mercy is seeking a registered nurse to provide patient-centered care under the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework. You will apply the nursing process to safety, quality, and compassion in daily duties, and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

The role requires current RN licensure in the hiring state (or compact licensure), Basic Life Support, and unit-specific certifications as needed.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required in hiring state or compact licensure.
• BLS certification or completion within 30 days of hire.
• Certifications may be required based on position/unit.
• Nursing degree or diploma (ASN/ADN, Diploma, or BSN).

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care following the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments while maintaining patient rights.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and ensure professional accountability.

Education

BLS certification

ACLS/ALS or other core certifications as required
