Job summary

Mercy is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct patient care within the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process. You will be professionally accountable for care, coordinate patient care with other departments, and safeguard patient rights and information.

Education includes a nursing degree (AD/Diploma/BSN). You must hold an active RN license in Missouri or a compact state, with BLS required within 30 days of hire, and additional unit-specific certifications per unit needs.

Qualifications

• RN license in hiring state or compact licensure.
• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Basic Life Support certification or completed within 30 days of hire.
• Additional unit-specific certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Uses the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for the provision of patient care for assigned patients.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
