Job summary

Mercy in Missouri is seeking a registered nurse to provide patient-centered care using the nursing process, while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality. Qualifications

• Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association) or completed within 30 days; ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, STABLE, C-EFM, and other unit-specific certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for the care provided to assigned patients.
• Evaluates overall effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of information.
