Job summary

Rivaya of Des Plaines is seeking a dynamic Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver quality-driven care at our Extended Care affiliated facility. You will supervise nursing assistants, complete resident admissions and transfers, and administer medications per physician orders.

This full-time role requires excellent communication in a multidisciplinary team, the ability to work every other weekend, and a commitment to compassionate, safe patient care.

Qualifications

• Active Nursing License as required by the state
• Ability to work every other weekend
• Strong teamwork and collaboration in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily activities of nursing assistants to ensure high-quality patient care
• Complete required documentation for resident admission, discharge, and transfer, ensuring compliance with facility policies
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician
• Conduct daily rounds of the unit and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment
