Qualifications

• Graduation from accredited nursing school, and current RN license in the state where employed.
• Current CPR certification; additional nursing specialty certifications desired.
• Freedom from illegal use of drugs and from abuse of alcohol in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing quality care for facility residents.
• Assess residents on admission/readmission and participate in rounds with physicians or NPs.
• Assist with data entry review of physician orders and with charting as needed.
• Participate in discharge processes and ensure compliance with policies and HIPAA regulations.
• Maintain safe, clean nursing stations and communicate effectively with residents, families and staff.
