Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Weekend Option program in the Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit (CVPCU) at Mount Carmel St. Ann's.

The role involves one weekday shift and two weekend shifts for full-time staff, with weekend incentive pay per program guidelines. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in acute care, current Ohio RN licensure, BLS/CPR, and strong skills in patient assessment, treatments and education.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and current Ohio RN license.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Strong assessment, planning and patient care coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive RN care within the CVPCU and related units.
• Assist providers with assessments, examinations and treatments.
• Administer medications and respond to emergencies per policies and guidelines.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, care plans and procedures.
• Document care accurately in the EMR and ensure quality outcomes.
