Nebraska Medicine is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Care Unit-Post Cardiac Surgery, weekends on the third shift. The role involves delivering high-acuity nursing care, coordinating with the care team, and ensuring patient safety in a fast-paced cardiothoracic environment.

Required BSN (or eligible for exceptions), Nebraska or compact-state RN license, and BLS. Additional certifications (PALS, ACLS, TNCC/ATCN) may be required within set timeframes.

Qualifikationen

• BSN required unless exceptional criteria are met as defined by policy.
• Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state required.
• BLS certification from an AHA-endorsed program.

• Provide and coordinate nursing care for CCU-PCS patients across high-acuity settings.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to meet patient needs and safety goals.
• Maintain readiness for ACLS/PALS/TNCC or ATCN as department requires.
