Job summary

Miramont Behavioral Health in Middleton, Wisconsin is seeking a Weekend RN to cover Fri/Sat/Sun, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM. You will supervise LPNs, CNAs and staff, develop and evaluate patient care plans, assess needs, and communicate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective care.

Required: graduation from an approved school of nursing, Wisconsin RN license, and prior nursing experience; behavioral health/addiction recovery experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved/accredited school of nursing.
• One or more years' nursing experience within clinical area of service preferred.
• Experience in behavioral health/psychiatric/addiction recovery environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate care by assessing physical and behavioral health needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, maintain medical records and educate patients and families.
• Assess patient status on an ongoing basis and document pertinent information.
• Ensure nursing treatment plans are specific to assessed needs and initial plan is completed upon admission.
• Take physician's orders accurately and document appropriately; transcribe and review orders.
