Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. in Chelmsford, MA is seeking a Quality Technician for a weekend shift (Fri–Sun, 7AM–7PM) to ensure RF modules meet stringent standards. You will inspect, perform first article evaluations, support CSI, and train staff on defect recognition across MMIC, components, and assembly processes.

The role requires US citizenship with security clearance and an AS degree preferred along with 3+ years of experience. Expect MRB handling, data review, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen - Security clearance required
• AS degree preferred, but not required and 3+ years’ experience
• ESD control and familiarity handling ESD sensitive components
• Ability to read and interpret prints / mechanical drawings
• Attention to detail
• Ability to solve manufacturing issues with solutions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines with high quality
• Promote a safe work environment

Responsibilities

• Act as a mentor and/or leader to junior staff
• Review incoming inspection data as needed to support containment
• Perform module assembly documentation review
• Prepare modules for Customer Source inspection (CSI) and present for onsite acceptance
• Resolve daily issues by participating and/or leading MRB
• Investigate MRB systemic issues with root-cause analysis
• Identify causes of common mistakes or defects
• Collect, analyze, and report on product conformance/quality issues and convey results
• Perform failure analysis using X-Ray, Keyence VHX system and EA-300 analysis
• Develop Inspection Guides and Visual Aids
