Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC-accredited respiratory program (AS/BS).
• Licensed as RRT or CRT in the practicing state with BLS.
• Ability to evaluate and treat residents independently in a geriatric setting.

Responsibilities

• Complete assessments and implement respiratory therapy for diverse conditions.
• Initiate therapies, maintain records, operate and check equipment.
• Provide bedside treatments and conduct quarterly in-services for nursing staff.
• Maintain daily, weekly and monthly documentation and participate in IDT meetings.
• Experience with tracheostomy and long-term care settings.
