Job summary

Celebration Village Forsyth is seeking a compassionate Resident Care Assistant to provide physical and psychosocial care to residents, promoting dignity and independence. The role reports to the shift supervisor and Wellness Director within a supportive team environment.

The position offers part-time weekend shifts with benefits including PTO, daily pay, health/dental insurance, 401K with match, life and disability coverage, referral bonuses, tuition reimbursement, and employee assistance

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak in English.
• Certification by state approved program, if required.
• Satisfactory completion of the company Resident Assistant skills competency checklist.
• Be in good physical health and free of communicable diseases; lifting, bending, and pushing medication cart about residence is required.
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
• Completion of drug testing and criminal background check upon hire and upon request of supervisor.
• Experience in Assisted Living preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provides all necessary care and services to assigned residents and assists other wellness department associates as needed.
• Works collaboratively with peers and other team members.
• Provides assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, etc.).
• Maintains professional demeanor when interacting with residents and families.
• Reports suspected or witnessed abuse to licensed staff immediately.
• Observes and reports changes in residents' conditions to Wellness Director or supervisor.
• Documents provision of services on company forms.
