Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for weekend part-time shifts in Elmhurst, IL. The role entails providing professional nursing care during 7p–7a shifts on Saturdays and Sundays, with minimal call requirements.

The position requires an associate degree in nursing (BSN within 5 years), IL RN licensure, CPR (BLS), ACLS and PALS within defined timelines. Benefits include premium pay and opportunities for growth within a broad healthcare network.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing or higher (BSN required within 5 years from start date)
• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
• Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within ninety days of start date into position
• Pediatric Life Support (PALS) within ninety days of start date into position

Responsibilities

• Renders professional nursing care to provide quality patient care. Employing critical thinking skills, assesses patients’ condition, recognizes deviations, plans and evaluates care, monitors patients’ progress, and records pertinent observations.
• Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff.
• Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals.
