Qualifications

• Student technologist is enrolled in an accredited radiologic technologist program affiliated with this facility.
• Student works alongside a registered radiologic technologist for guidance.
• Must provide documentation of BLS, TB skin tests and influenza vaccines when available.
• Demonstrated competency for radiology exams per orientation checklist.
• Ability to make judgment decisions in urgent or emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality imaging procedures for patients and physicians.
• Operate in a safe, clean environment under supervision of a licensed radiologic technologist RT (R).
• Ensure patient identification and orders are accurate before proceeding.
• Maintain radiation safety and patient dignity during exams and transport.
• Learn and evolve in a dynamic clinical setting.
