Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ARRT (R) licensure and Radiologic Technologist certification; CPR (American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider) required.

Responsibilities

• Follows physicians' instructions on imaging area.
• Instructs patients to explain procedures and alleviate anxiety.
• Position patients and adjust imaging equipment for quality images.
• Minimizes radiation exposure to patient and staff.
• Ensures proper shielding and adherence to imaging procedures.
• Completes documentation for each procedure to maintain patient records.
