Job summary

LGC Group is hiring for a QC Associate Scientist to join a collaborative team focused on precise analytical results. This weekend shift role runs Friday to Sunday, 12-hour days, 7am to 7:30pm, with opportunities to learn and contribute to method development and data integrity.

The position requires a chemistry/biology science degree with lab experience, proficiency in HPLC/LC-MS or GC-MS, and solid understanding of cGMP.

Qualifications

• Science degree in Chemistry, Biology or similar with 2 years lab experience in manufacturing.
• Strong organic/analytical chemistry knowledge and proficiency in analytical techniques (HPLC, LC-MS/MS or GC-MS).
• Proficient in cGMP and analytical manufacturing support.

Responsibilities

• Setting up instrument sequences and monitoring analysis and data.
• Troubleshooting, maintenance, and reporting results for timely delivery to internal/external collaborators.
• Coordinating routine and stability analysis and driving continuous improvement via analytical methods.
• Maintaining quality control processes and procedures to ensure accuracy and precision of analysis.
• Familiarity with GMP guidelines 21 CFR Part 210/211 and ICH Q7.
