Axolabs, a U.S. facility of LGC, is seeking a QC Associate Scientist for a weekend shift (Fri-Sun, 7am-7:30pm) in Petaluma, CA. You will join an ambitious team performing analytical testing, data review, and instrument maintenance to support preclinical and clinical development.

The role emphasizes cGMP compliance, method development, and collaboration with internal/external partners to ensure timely data delivery and ongoing process improvements.

Qualifications

• Science degree in Chemistry, Biology or similar with 2 years lab experience in manufacturing.
• Strong organic/analytical chemistry knowledge and proficiency in associated analytical techniques (HPLC, LC-MS/MS, GC-MS).
• Proficient in cGMP and analytical manufacturing support.

Responsibilities

• Setting up instrument sequences and monitoring analysis and data.
• Performing instrument troubleshooting, maintenance, and reporting results for timely delivery to internal and external collaborators.
• Coordinating routine and stability analysis and driving continuous improvement via analytical methodologies.
• Maintaining quality control processes and procedures to ensure accuracy and precision of analysis.
• Demonstrating familiarity with GMP guidelines 21 CFR Part 210/211 and ICHQ7.
