Job summary

Lincoln Park Care Center is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our sub-acute and long-term care team. You will work under therapists to provide patient-centered PT care according to care plans.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey PTA license with at least 1 year in sub-acute/long-term care.
• Bachelor degree in Physical Therapy.
• Weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to ensure high-quality resident care.

The appropriate candidates will join our active Sub-acute care program and Rehabilitation Services which are "In-House" and provided by our interdisciplinary team of staff therapists. Primary responsibility is to ensure residents receive a level of treatment consistent with Care Plans, monitoring RUGS levels and preparing billing.

Requirements for Physical Therapists PT – Physical Therapy Assistant PTA

• A valid New Jersey Therapist license and a minimum of one year of experience in a sub-acute and long-term care setting is required for all licensed therapist. Must have a thorough knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement and commercial insurance.
• Bachelor degree in Physical Therapy Program
• Availability on weekends a must!
