Eaton is seeking a Weekend Production Trainer for the El Paso, TX site. The role supports site-wide training for hourly production staff and helps implement cross-training and Manning strategies.

The schedule is 6:00am-6:45pm Friday-Sunday with a pay plan that includes 40 hours at 36-hour weeks. The position requires a high school diploma and at least 1 year of manufacturing or warehouse experience, plus 6 months of production training experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year manufacturing or warehouse experience.
• Minimum 6 months experience conducting production training.

Responsibilities

• Support site-wide training programs for all hourly production employees.
• Collaborate with functional leaders on cross-training and Manning strategy.

• Continuously develop skills by cross training in different areas.
• Lead by example in safety, leadership attributes and continuous improvement.
• Participate in and lead continuous initiatives and other projects.

Programs may include, but are not limited to on-the-job training, classroom training, and assisting in the hiring and onboarding process• Collaborate with functional leaders on facilitating and implementing cross-training throughout the facility as well as focusing on the manning strategy to ensure all areas are covered• Assist training coordinator as needed to update training records, develop/update training content, and ensure training compliance• Continuously develop skills and knowledge by cross training in different areas• Act as a subject matter expert in CPA processes and flex into production as needed• Lead by example in areas such as safety, Eaton’s leadership attributes, initiative, quality assurance, continuous improvement, and product knowledge• Participate and lead continuous initiatives and support other projects as needed.Qualifications:Required:• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.• Minimum of 1 year manufacturing or warehouse experience.• Minimum 6 months experience conducting production training.• Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
