Job summary

Schneider Electric in Ohio's Fairfield plant is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the weekend shift to support the Methods and Maintenance Team. You will coordinate inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs to maximize uptime and equipment reliability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This role emphasizes TPM practices, use of CMMS to record work, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

3–5 years of production/manufacturing maintenance experience.
Knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles.
Familiarity with safety/electrical procedures (LOTO, electrical codes).

Responsibilities

Coordinate maintenance activities including inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
Manage spare parts inventory to ensure maintenance readiness.
Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and drive improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and optimize production methods.
Apply TPM to increase reliability of workstations and lines.
Train production staff on maintenance levels 1–3.
Record work in CMMS and maintain accurate documentation.
