Job summary

Williams International is seeking a Production Coordinator for weekend days (Fri, Sat, Sun) from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM in Pontiac, MI. The role manages movement of materials within a production cell, creates kits, labels parts, and supports shipping and inventory processes.

Responsibilities include assembling production kits, ensuring accurate part labeling, and using SAP/ERP for transactions. Candidates should lift up to 50 pounds and meet all safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year in a materials, stocking, or inventory role.
• Detail oriented, self-starter, able to meet deadlines.
• Ability to follow clear oral and/or written procedures.
• Ability to interact with cross-functional teams; strong customer skills.
• Physical lifting requirements: lift 50 pounds, push/pull 60 pounds, grip 50 pounds, reach above shoulder.
• US citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Create production kits with required parts and instructions for next level assemblies.
• Label parts for easy kit identification.
• Create shippers and deliver materials to shipping department for outside processing.
• Ensure correct parts are kept in appropriate quantities to support production.
• Identify and communicate shortages/discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Utilize SAP/ERP systems to process material transactions.
• May operate hand truck for delivery or picking of parts and supplies.
• Support team goals following policies, procedures, and safety standards.
