Job summary

ThisWay Global partners with Costco Traverse City to hire a Part Time Weekend Product Demonstrator. You will perform live product demonstrations, engage shoppers, and drive sampling events to boost sales in a retail setting.

You will also support store operations during peak periods, mainly on weekends (Friday through Sunday), with opportunities for advancement. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for up to 6 hours, and strong teamwork with store staff.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Available to work 2+ weekend shifts (Fri-Sun).
• Can work a minimum of 3 weekends per month.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for up to 6 hours.
• Ability to prepare, cook, and clean work areas and equipment.
• Reliable transportation.
• Customer service and teamwork skills.
• Work independently and collaboratively.
• Follow safety procedures in a retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct live product demonstrations and sampling for customers
• Engage customers to provide product information and encourage purchases
• Support sales by promoting featured products
• Assist management with additional tasks as needed
• Prepare and cook sample items
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment
• Follow safety procedures in a retail environment
• Work scheduled shifts, primarily on weekends (Fri-Sun)
