Job summary

Howmet Aerospace is seeking a Processing Tech for the Tucson, AZ location to support a weekend shift (Fri–Sun, 5:00 AM–6:00 PM). You will operate machine tools, perform heat treatment and electroplating processes, and inspect parts per blueprints and quality specs.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, US work eligibility, and compliance with ITAR. On-site work, routine maintenance, and adherence to EH&S policies are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
• ITAR requires U.S. person status.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings and engineering information to determine methods and sequence of operations.
• Measure, examine and test completed units to detect defects.
• Operate heat treatment furnaces to meet specification requirements.
• Operate the automatic electroplating line to meet specification requirements.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on facility machinery.
• Maintain, clean and secure work area and tools.
• Adhere to EH&S, Quality, and Continuous Improvements policies.
