Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. is hiring a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide on-site care in long-term care facilities in Garland, TX. This part-time weekend position offers meaningful patient relationships within a collaborative care environment and competitive compensation.

The NP/PA will conduct exams, manage chronic and acute conditions, order tests, and work with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality elder care with a patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted NP/PA license.
• State of Texas license in good standing.
• Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
• Compassion for elder care and person-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care to residents in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities.
• Perform physical exams and medical history assessments.
• Diagnose and treat chronic and acute health conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab results.
• Develop and adjust individualized care plans.
• Prescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness.
• Collaborate with facility staff and interdisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients and families about treatment options and care goals.
• Ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for residents.
