Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license.
• License must be in good standing for North Carolina.
• Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing.
• Strong communication, clinical, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to stand/walk for prolonged periods and lift up to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care services to residents in long-term care facilities.
• Perform physical exams and collect medical history.
• Diagnose and treat chronic and acute conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab results.
• Develop and adjust individualized care plans.
• Prescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness.
• Collaborate with facility staff and interdisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients and families about treatment options and goals.
• Ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for residents.
