Alianza in Gastonia, NC is seeking an experienced Weekend Press Brake Operator to join a busy metal fabrication facility. The role involves setting up, operating, and monitoring press brake machines to bend, form, and fabricate metal components according to blueprints and work orders.

Candidates must have at least 1 year of hands-on manufacturing experience; experience with press brakes or CNC machinery is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of hands-on manufacturing experience.
• Experience operating industrial machinery, manufacturing equipment, or metal fabrication equipment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to learn press brake operations.
• Ability to read and follow work orders, production instructions, and measurements.
• Familiarity with basic measuring tools and quality inspection procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high-quality work.
• Ability to work safely around industrial machinery and metal materials.
• Dependable attendance, punctuality, and strong work ethic.
• Must be available to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, shape, and form metal components according to production specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, work orders, and measurements.
• Select, install, and adjust appropriate tooling, dies, and machine settings for production requirements.
• Operate CNC-controlled or manually operated press brake equipment as assigned.
• Adjust machine settings, including bend angles, pressure, and positioning, to ensure accurate results.
• Measure and inspect finished parts using tape measures, calipers, angle gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
• Monitor production quality and make necessary adjustments to maintain accuracy and consistency.
• Identify and report defective materials, equipment malfunctions, and quality concerns.
• Perform routine machine inspections, cleaning, and basic preventive maintenance.
• Follow production schedules and meet established productivity and quality standards.
• Properly handle, load, and unload metal materials and finished components.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and wear required PPE.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and production team members to meet daily production goals.
• Perform additional manufacturing duties as assigned.
