Job summary
Telecare is seeking a PMHNP to join as a part-time on-site clinician in Bakersfield, CA. This 24-hour-per-week role covers Saturday and Sunday shifts from 9am to 9pm, with optional on-call compensation by phone up to $250/night.
You will provide direct psychiatric care and medication management within a multidisciplinary team, delivering recovery-focused treatment plans and supporting clients across our behavioral health services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Science and an advanced degree in a healthcare science as required by the State Licensing program.
- Minimum of one year of full-time experience in a program serving persons with mental disabilities.
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Board Certified as a PMHNP.
- Licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner in the State of practice.
- Active DEA and Furnishing licenses.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct psychiatric care and medication management.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on recovery-focused treatment planning.
- Maintain PMHNP practice on-site Saturdays and Sundays 9am-9pm.
