Job summary

Simtra BioPharma Solutions, a leader in aseptic manufacturing, seeks a Supervisor, Aseptic Operations to guide a production team in Bloomington, IN. You will ensure cGMP adherence, oversee batch records, and collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Compliance to meet release timelines.

The role demands strong leadership, training in GMP, and a focus on safety and quality. You will drive continuous improvement and lead investigations to strengthen manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or business is strongly preferred.
• Minimum 2 years manufacturing or operations support experience.
• Minimum 1 year leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Understand, follow, coach, and lead teams to execute production per cGMP.
• Provide guidance, support, direction and leadership during daily operations.
• Interview, hire, mentor, and conduct annual performance reviews for direct reports.
• Supervise day-to-day production, scheduling, staffing, material management, compliance, training and auditing to meet deadlines and quality.
• Review and manage batch documentation; assist in release of product for distribution.
• Implement training programs to ensure compliance to cGMP and EHS regulations.
• Develop performance metrics and internal audit programs and drive continuous improvements.
• Lead technical reviews, investigations and process improvement projects.
• Resolve technical, material and cGMP problems impacting deadlines.
• Represent the company during audits and inspections.
