Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join a Patient Service Center, delivering skilled specimen collections and exemplary customer service as the face of Labcorp.

You will perform venipuncture for all ages, collect specimens for various tests, enter data accurately, assist with billing, and prepare samples for analysis. The role requires travel to additional sites and reliable transportation. Growth opportunities exist within Labcorp.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 6 months’ or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed; reliable transportation required.
