Supports pharmacists by providing distributive pharmacy services, ensuring safe and accurate medication services, and supporting direct patient care.

• Perform all pharmacy technician functions and maintain proficiency in standard work, operational programs, delivery, and compounding systems
• Utilize medication automation, technology, and computer systems appropriately
• Interpret electronic records accurately
• Manage medication inventories and prepare patient-specific doses
• Oversee medication delivery activities and prepare medication products accurately
• Prevent errors related to drug, dose, and barcode scanning issues

Qualifications

The expertise and experience you’ll need to succeed:

• High school diploma
• Registered Pharmacy Technician in your state or within 90 days, depending on state requirements
• Sterile Compounding Certification if applicable to the facility
