Job summary
Furry Fellas Pet Service LLC in Providence, RI is hiring experienced pet care professionals for weekend dog walking and pet sitting. You should have prior professional animal care experience, be reliable, and passionate about delivering high-quality care to dogs, cats and other small animals.
This role involves visiting client homes on Saturdays and Sundays, with 4–6 hours per weekend day during our service hours. Pay is per visit with opportunities for trainings, certifications, and bonuses.
Qualifications
- Prior professional animal care experience
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
- Smartphone with reliable internet access
- Daily email/internet access
- Able to pass a background check
- Comfort with outdoor work and varying weather
Responsibilities
- Visits include dog walking, exercising dogs, letting out for bathroom breaks, pet sitting, feeding, administering medications (when applicable), and cat/small animal care.
- Travel between clients’ homes within assigned service areas to care for pets.
- Follow client care instructions and document visits in our client management system
- Leave notes for clients after each visit detailing visit outcomes
