Job summary

Furry Fellas Pet Service LLC is seeking experienced pet care professionals for evening pet sitting and dog walking in Providence, RI. The role focuses on caring for dogs, cats and small animals with reliable transportation and strong communication skills.

Typical hours are evenings mon-fri (5-9pm, 6-9pm, or 7-9pm) with 10-20 hours per week. Per-visit compensation, mileage reimbursement, tips, and trainings are provided. Candidates begin with fewer hours and may increase as clients are assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 and prior professional animal care experience.
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance.
• Smartphone, internet access, and ability to use scheduling apps.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors walking dogs year round.

Responsibilities

• Visit dogs for walking, exercise, feeding, meds when applicable.
• Provide cat care and small animal care.
• Follow client care instructions and log visits.
• Leave notes after each visit for clients.
