Job summary

Arch Home Care seeks a dedicated Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join our Northern Virginia team and work every weekend, delivering compassionate care in clients' homes.

As a weekend PCA, you will assist with bathing, grooming, mobility, meal prep, companionship, and light housekeeping following individual care plans.

A current PCA certification is preferred; strong communication and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Current PCA certification (preferred, if required).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and follow a care plan.
• Basic computer and telephone skills.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care Assistance: bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Meal Preparation: prepare meals and snacks per client needs and instructions.
• Companionship: provide emotional support and accompany clients to appointments.
• Light Housekeeping: laundry, cleaning, and maintaining a tidy home.
• Additional Support: follow care plans and report changes to the supervisor.
