Job summary

Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, IL seeks an Occupational Therapist for the Inpatient Physical Therapy department. The role supports a Weekend Warrior schedule (Saturday and Sunday), per diem commitments, with at least 4 shifts per month, providing outpatient and inpatient therapeutic services in musculoskeletal, neuromuscular and cardiopulmonary care areas.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s or master’s degree in OT, current OT license for the state, current BCLS, and NBCOT is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current state OT certification/license required.
• BCLS (AHA) certificate current.
• NBCOT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides consultative and therapeutic OT services to restore function.
• Works within department and hospital policies and with the interdisciplinary care team.
