Job summary

AristaCare is seeking an Occupational Therapist for weekend per diem assignments in New Jersey. You will provide occupational therapy services to residents, align with CMS and company standards, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active New Jersey Occupational Therapy license.
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure.
• Documentation per CMS expectations in NetHealth EMR.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to residents per standards and procedures.
• Adhere to procedures regarding documentation and billing of OT services.
• Demonstrate sound judgment in evaluation, planning, implementation, and follow-up of therapy programs.
• Conduct regular resident screenings to determine need for intervention.
• Develop treatment plans with short- and long-term goals to achieve identified outcomes.
• Communicate evaluation findings and recommendations to residents, families, and interdisciplinary team.
